I've searched high and low and can't seem to come across any .300blk subsonic ammo that's in stock. I know with everything going on in the world today ammo is hard to come by, but does anyone have a good website or store that might have some in stock?

SgAmmo had it 2 weeks ago. Most sites have in stock email notification. I would start with getting that setup. It goes OOS quick so keep an eye on your email.

Unless you're looking at something I'm not, there is no subsonic .300blk for sale there.

Just signed up to be notified on multiple options on sgammo, I’ll give it a couple weeks and see if anything happens. Appreciate all the responses.

When you figure it out, tell the rest of us. I saw some a week and a half ago but was too late to buy it and haven't really seen any since except some place that had $2 a round Sig Match ammo.

I wish I knew the economics of all of this inside and out. For instance: why is nobody making truckloads of .300BLK that is selling for a dollar a round but are instead making .223 that is selling for like 70 CPR? What goes into the decision to not make the stuff that brings in more CPR? Are there machinery considerations? Does it cost so much to reconfigure machines that the demand for .300BLK just isn't high enough to switch and make money? Is it something else, like component supply and the ammo companies want to make more, but can't? Is .300BLK so elastic that increasing production just a little tanks the price? Are their contractual obligations to produce X rounds per year of caliber Y for client Z making it difficult for them to find free production capacity to shift in response to market demands?

I just wish I had their spreadsheets and predictive tools to know what was going on. These companies are not in the business of leaving money on the table, so there has to be a damned good reason they're not making more of the stuff that brings in like 30-40% more a round and I'm curious.

If you have the brass, it may be worth your time to pick up some equipment for reloading. Assuming you can find the 300 BO dies.

Oh, if only I had the room. I've got plenty of .300BLK supers and .223/5.56. I'd be out there with my dorky little bag on the ejection port and pressing my own if I had the space to do it.

Good luck finding the primers to load them.

Read an article that said that is the biggest issue right now for ammo. There are only 4 companies that make primers in the US and they can only produce so many.

gunbot is useless now. None of that showing in stock is actually in stock.

Most of the links on that page are dead links as well.

Call it what you want. It’s a money saver lol. One can always spot a reloader at a range bc they spend more time looking through other people’s wasted brass than shooting.

I'd love to have the space to reload because I could make perfect loads for my rifle. I'd even be willing to mount the goofy looking brass catcher. I REFUSE to be a brass goblin and pick through spent casings.

Look into an arbor press and LE Wilson Dies if you are looking at precision rifle. You can take the arbor press anywhere you want.

I've seen guys loading with them at the range.

AmmoSeek is a pretty reliable site that searches for in stock ammo. They have email alerts as well
