I have used freedom munitions for a long time, and have always been happy with them.
Recently heard about Mountain City Supply and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them.

ammoseek since they show if the shipping charges are free, low, avg, etc.

I also check on wikiarms and gun.deals

Yep, but we’ve been having issues finding primers.

GunBroker.com
Can find whatever you’re looking for. It’s an open marketplace for retailers to list products. Highly recommend

I saw both MidwayUSA and Brownells had primers this week.

They were expensive but they had them.

Many sites have the "alert me when when this is available" thing - I recommend it. Academy emailed me yesterday that my 30-06 ammo was available, I bought my limit. I've been checking in store by me, they never have it. I'm sure Midway USA and other sites have that too.

This is what I do bc i use common calibers. I enjoy going to the different stores and looking at what’s in stock.

Abel ammo had some 6.8 SPC hunting ammo the other day so that’s were I bought it. Usually hit ammo seek then go find what I’m looking for.

As long as it’s not cheaper than dirt then I’ll buy it. I will also usually make the rounds locally during the day while I work to see if Hebert’s, Jim’s, Interstate Guns, Bowie’s, BPS, or Cabela’s has it.

I buy from Mountain City Supply when they are competitive with the cheapest on ammoseek

I’ve had the same trouble finding primers but started getting on Ammoseek and checking every day and caught some CCI BR-2’s about 2 months ago, got 1000, paid over $170 after shipping and explosives fees, only regret I didn’t buy 2000 haven’t seen any of those again since that day.
Kept seeing CCI 34’s so went ahead and got 1000 of those, they ended up being almost $150 after fees, I had never used them but they are CCI and work great, they’re advertised as a magnum mix but they shoot well with the powders I’ve tried them with, I use some slow burning powders like WW760, H4831 and have used CCI 250 mag primers with them in the past so the CCI 34’s work and shoot the same.

Keep an eye on Ammoseek and get on Midways notification alerts and you’ll find some soon.

I’ve purchased from them a couple of times now. It’s about the only place I’ve found that sells for a reasonable price these days. It may take a little longer to get your rounds, as they are a small business, but their customer service is great. I had a case of 9 mil show up damaged (UPS) and missing three boxes. I called them, sent them photos of the damage, the lady immediately shipped 3 replacement boxes at no charge.

Their recent reviews on Google don't look good at all.
