I saw a few over the weekend in Nola.

Bug man told me about 6-7 years ago it’s always Mother’s Day, and he has been right +/- 5 days every year. Probably even closer than that

They were all at my house. Last year was terrible, and we saw some last night already.

I saw my first termites tonight while doing something in my shop with the garage door open and lights on. Them suckers were landing on my head and neck, so finished up and came inside.

They were at a friends in Broussard night before last. I’ve yet to see them thankfully.

They're heeereeee... In Mandeville. One landed in my food which was my cue to go turn off all the lights and force my family to live in darkness for a few weeks

They started swarming tonight in Covington. Draw the curtains, turn off all lights.

Mid to late May.
It was amazing the 1st time my daughter's softball game was cancelled because of termites swarming. First the outfielders were swatting them, then the infield was distracted, then the ump and pitcher were swatting them; then two black mothers got landed on by termites and hell broke lose in the stands and up the baselines. Owe lawd...dees bugs is everywhere...

I've kept my lights low every May from dat day down to dis.

Saturday May 7th had a decent swarm on the westbank in marrero outside watching the fights on the back porch they came out of no where. Summa bitches landed in my crown. I turned the lights off dumped my drink and went to bed. Next morning I seen the wings all over the patio furniture. I hate them bastards they can ruin a good party.

Last night was the first night that they were really noticeable. Guess no outside lights for a few weeks. And I guess no lsu baseball on the patio for these next few weeks, nor cooking outside at or right after dusk.

They ruin everything
