Dragon Fly was the first then a mouse in my folks house growing up. Just happened to be coming in with it from shooting stuff and the little bastard just ran down the hall. One shot. One kill.

Not really the biggest thing I ever killed with, but definitely what I was the most proud of.

I was about 11-12 and was doin what most kids that age who live in the country do when it's cold: packing around a Benjamin and shootin any wild animal I saw(mostly birds though).

Anyways, I was walking down a fence row that had some big tallow trees on it and jumped up a dove. It was goin up and straight away from me, I put the scope right above its head and shot. Folded him up! When I picked him up, straight headshot!

wow, I did the same thing with a big blue heron like that. I just pointed at it and shot across a pond behind the levee in the batture(sp)area. I used a model 25 Daisy bb gun. I too watched the bb arch thru the air and hit it right in the head, watched it flop around and croak. I was 10 at the time and I was so sad after when I realized I killed such a majestic beautiful bird. I never shot at one of those again but continued killing trash birds such as starlings, red wind blackbirds, sparrows, etc. And.....

Bumble bees, dragonflies, wasps, mullet, coons, possums, armadillos, skunks, rats, mice, lizards, dogs, cats, an owl when I was about 8 yrs old, rabbits, squirrels, pretty much everything except for a deer or turkey. When I was a young buck, my brother and I once killed 100 red-breasted winter migrant birds that taste like doves in a day with pellet guns. Two 5-gallon buckets plus our pockets full. We wouldn't have gotten in as much trouble if the preacher wouldn't have seen us walking down the side of the road with them and called my dad at work. He picked us up on the side of the road and whipped our arses all the way home while he drove. I can't remember everything he said, but I distinctly remember the words "You could have made it all the way home without going out onto the road. Do you know how stupid this makes you two look?"

Used to shoot the hell out of those big wood rats. My buddy's dad own a bunch of Chicken houses and we would go over there and shoot the rats.

The next morning, I walked out the front door, I saw him flipping around in circles trying to get away. I felt like HELL!! I pulled out the dart and let him go! Kinda hope he made it after that ordeal!
