I'm waiting on him to clarify that. I can't see how it's possible to keep the accuracy needed of long range hunting while swapping mounts without re zeroing

The snipers always do it in the movies.

Leopold. Best scope for the money. Have two, both have been on the money without adjusting for at least 10 years. Don't go cheap on your scope.

With the right rings (in my case Burris PEPR rings) the eye relief is good. Obviously it gets worse if you zoom in, but it's still great. It's also held the same zero for a long time. I like how Leupold is making them now. It's good to have a good company backing them.

I will debate this. I believe that Nikon makes the best scope for the money. Much cheaper and just as tough. Gotta spend a lot more to get better glass. Yes, Leopolds are great, but not the best value.
I grew up shooting nothing but Redfields and Leopolds but when it came time for me to pay for scopes, nothing but Nikons and one Swarovoski. And since maybe I got such a great deal on my Swarovoski, maybe it should be the best value?

Leupold VX III's and Mark 4.
Cheaper scopes on .22's and the like.

quick detachable scope mounts for your rifles; that way you don't have to buy multiple optics and can just move the scope from gun to gun without losing zero
