I just bought a new Nikon Monarch 4-16x50. Had a Nikon Buckmaster 3-9x40. Didn't realize how many scopes there are out there until I started looking.

P.S
130 gr .270 Core Loks pointed SP's are a bitch to find. Went to every Walmart in BR, both Acadamy's and Jim's Firearms before I found them at Spillway Sportsman in Brusly.

Weaver 3-9x38. Had it for 20 years now. It has been a damn good scope for the money.

Leupold had some I looked at. But I don't know anyone who uses them so I went with what I know.

They make a 6-24x50 but I don't need to read the guy in the next stands newspaper. I bring my own.

Nothing at all wrong with what you got, however if you dont know anyone using a leupold, you need more friends They are very common
