What kind of pond algae is this and how do I kill it

This is probably on 20% of my pond, how do I get rid of it?

We used to call that duckweed.
No idea what it actually is, unless it is actually duckweed.

Its not.
Looks like hair algae but that could be several different species.

Looks like Pithophora, a filamentous algae. Is it course to the touch, somewhat like steel wool? Pithophora can be on the more difficult side to control. But here is one fact sheet with suggestions LINK
Spirogyra filamentous algae looks similar but is very slimy to the touch. It’s usually appears when water is cool.
Send your photos to Dr. Chris Mudge, aquatic weed scientist, at the LSU AgCenter, to assist in definitive identification and recommended control measures. LINK. Don’t go buying herbicides and applying without a proper ID first.

Not duckweed but we call it snot grass. Not sure what the real name is though.

Algae. Copper sulfate from tractor supply will most likely knock it out

I just applied Cutrine Plus because I have the same problem. I will report back on how well it worked. Thanks for the links.
