Winchester Model 12. Holds 7 shells. Extremely reliable.
Benelli M1. Holds 5 shells. Holds 4 shells with legal plug. Extremely reliable.
Winchester 870. Holds 5 shells. Distant 3rd in reliability.
pardon my ignorance, but for waterfowl hunting in Louisiana, don't you have to limit your gun to maximum 3 shells? Where does the extra capacity come in to play, besides target/skeet shooting?

Any advice?
Benelli is the only company that makes a variety of quality LH guns. I'm a lefty and learned to shoot right handed because i was tired of the shitty selection.
Go SBEII if you want a 3.5

That Franchi even says Benelli on the box.

I got mine at cabelas for $699 before tax. I've had it a month and only made a couple hunts with it so far but no complaints at all.

Yup, we buy all 3 (Benelli, franchi, stoeger) from our Benelli rep

I have a Stoeger 12G side by side with 30" barrels. It works nicely.
However, I also have an old S&W 12G pump that still holds a special place with me. We have killed a number of birds together and still do.

If you got the camo. I just paid $870 after tax for my Affinity in max 5 from cabelas couple weeks ago. Love it.

Quite good. It beats the hell out of a number of the other "cheap" brands. I have it in 12, 20, and 410 gauges. The 410 is great for squirrel and rabbit. 20 is good for doves.
