I change what I bring depending on the weather, stand I'm hunting, length of hunt, etc. But in my backpack I always keep:

Skinning knife
Leatherman with saw blade
Map of the property
Doe bleat cans
Grunt call
Compass/thermometer/rape whistle combo
Gun/bow pull rope
Flashlight
Extra (dimmer) flashlight
Clip on hat light
Small towel
Screw in hangers for bow hunting/climber
Thin gloves
Camo beanie
Empty bottle for pissing
Reflective flagging tape
Tags, Ink pen and zip ties in a ziploc bag
Extra ziploc bag or 2

Depending on other factors, I might also have:

Thermacell w/ extra butane and patches
Full face mask (warm kind)
Thick fleece gloves
Bottle of water, snack of some sort
Hand warmers
QB handwarmer sleeve thing
Mesh face mask
Extra socks
Code blue

And other stuff I can't think of probably
