What Ch'all Grillin' or Smokin' This Weekend?

Got a couple of rabbits smokin' on the Keg.

No pictures yet, I forgot to get some when I first put them on to smoke.
I started at about 150 degrees and after adding the hickory and some good pellets. The temp has slowly climbed to right at 200.
This will be for a Rabbit and Andouille Gumbo I'm making for tomorrow evening. Also thowing in some tasso and hot smoked sausage. Should be a good one!

Crab dip, shrimp salad, pepper jack boudin egg rolls to snack on through the day. Smoking a pork belly and making a seafood gumbo for the game.

Wife is doing a chicken and sausage gumbo. She cooks gumbo better than I can!

Smoking tasso tomorrow. I have two deer roasts curing in the fridge now. Will be smokin then on Sunday.

Taking this year off on the “cook enough for an army for the Bama game” this time. But watch party will have ribs and fixins, I’ll probably swing in Popeyes for big box of spicy and some RB&R.

With the wife out of town on a retreat I decided to grill some sausage some burgers along with a few chicken thighs on the Keg.



I lit the firepit late afternoon to enjoy the smoky aroma of Kegtoberfest bonfire. Lol.....



I thought I had taken pictures of the sausages on buns dressed and ready to eat but I guess I didn't.

Here are our two dogs guarding me or maybe waiting for something to drop from the Keg. Lol......
