In the middle of Lafayette we have squirrel, feral cats, raccoon, and opossums. I trap the coons and opossum and get animal control to empty my traps. It's a fun pass time.

Probably because they are all up on my street

Here is one of the ring leaders

I brought that bastard across the interstate into that black neighborhood, and he was back two days later. The rest, I either brought to my buddy's back yard or across the levee

He's gonna be a dead cougar if he ever gets in that trap again. The biggest pain in the arse is that this woman just keeps refilling her stock of cats with no intentions of doing anything when she leaves

Lots of Geckos and a couple dead snakes (the only kind I like) that I ran over with the lawnmower.

Them housecats are hard to kill with a .22. Shotgun works real good, though.

No skunks on your property? My parents live in the suburbs of Houston and the other day my dog nearly got sprayed by a skunk that was chilling in the backyard.

In the area we have:

Whitetail
Hogs
Gray squirrel
armadillo
Raccoons
Skunks
Coyotes
Nutria near the lakes
Some kind of rabbit
Lots of songbirds

I would, but there's a bunch of houses with little girls living in them, so I am not gonna take the chance of something ricocheting up into a house(responsible gun owner).

If it was boys, I'd take the shot

coolest amimal encounter- Had a mountain lion walk within 6 paces of me on a mountain in the Medicine Bow National Forest. Hunting with a man who Guided elk hunters for 20 plus years. He said it was the biggest cat he had ever seen (he has killed and guided a few). He said that cat would be 100-130lbs and his head was as big as a cinderblock. All we had was archery gear. He noticed us when he got to six paces and decided to jump over the edge and run down the mountain. Never got a pic, but I will never forget that image of him walking toward us.
