Heading down to take my 2 boys and their buddy for some of the elusive and endangered red snapper. Are the Federales still firing warning shots for those bringing back 3 if at least 1 is caught inside the newly deemed state waters? I guess there aren't many spots in that no man's land out of Fourchon like there are out of Venice. I've never caught any closer than ST-63, and that's more than 10 miles unless the charts lie.

Wish I had the balls to take up this hobby. Looks like a blast. I'd do it in the Caribbean in <30' of water

Indian Creek camping. Will catch a lunch sack of bass on grass edges, then look for schoolies. Will drag a Garland minnow for an hour or two and get no bites, then quit.

Saturday- Get up and start working on a new stand, work till about lunch, then dive into the cold beer, fire the pit up, get ready to pitch some horseshoes.
Sunday- Put on my finest pair of jorts, head out to the lake, and sweat out what's left of Saturday so I can make room for a little hair of the dog, and try my first go at hand grabbing.
