It's a numerically fluid situation. People contribute in different ways. You're not a Level 1 Associate by any stretch.

Hey Buddy,

You need me to call my friend at Mississippi Power and light to drop you a power line for your deer stand. Sure would be nice to add central air and heat with a full kitchen.

Went to the camp last week. Power had been out and the freezer full of fish thawed and rotted. Called my buddy that I own the place with and got "Bet that stinks pretty bad". Needless to say I spent the next few hours, alone, cleaning and gagging.

You left out another. The guy you go fishing with and catch like a dozen crappie, which you let him have. Then fish again and catch one bass a gives it to you to make up for the dozen crappie.

I don't know Shawn, that might have been a duct tape and haul to the road job. That happened to me in last years flood. Friends and family got to my house before I did, and my buddy already had mine taped up and at the street. Wasn't even the least bit mad. Ducks, deer, quail, and assorted fish would have been brutal after 2-3 days of august heat. Should have seen the look on the ol baws face when they pulled up and asked if they could have it, they started loading and some good stuff started flowing out all in their truck bed. Bet it took a month to get rid of that stench.

Not if your dad is 70 and still wants to hunt. The child becomes the parent and provides for like when he was young. Ive got close to the same thing 16 feet off the ground. Full stair case with a landing halfway up. Never know when it gets to the point he cant make it all the way and needs somewhere to stop and rest.

Its 10 x 10 with full size house windows and solid core door. Rubber floor with carpet over it. Wall mounted heater and a swivel high back office chair. He has plenty room to do what he wants.

Best day of his life was when he watched his grandson kill his first deer out of it while his 2 other grandsons and son where all there together.

No such thing as excessive when it comes to hunting with kids or parents.

Yea that's pretty stupid to put a little blood, sweat and tears into a ladder well so that an elderly parent or relative can get in and out of a stand safely, frickO...

Luckily i hunt with immediate family, and most are somewhere in between 1 and 2. Dad is definitely a 1, and could care less when we show up, as long as we show up.
