I drive a GMC envoy and every time it rains the rain water pools up on the floor of the passenger side. There is never any water on the door or window or anything else, just the floor. I cant figure out where its getting in. Does anyone know whats going on?

Have you had your windshield replaced recently?
If they put the seal in upside down/backwards it would leak there.

That happened to me with an F-150...Problem was compounded by the fact that it leaked into the GEM module/Fuse block. All kinds of gremlins came out.

ETA: My leak was on the driver's side...but it's easily the same issue.

have you changed the antenna lately? Check the seal around the antenna.

My dad had the same problem. 08 Silverado. They changed the door gaskets. Still leaked. Then they pulled the back window out and resealed it. And it stopped

sunroof?

My F150 had this issue. Damn pinhole drains in the sunroof were plugged. Ran a coat hanger down there and roto-rootered them out. No more leaks. Very common problem with sunroofs.

Sunroof? Typically, sunroofs drain by tubes that travel down your A and B pillars. Those tubes may dry and crack over time and leak water into the car instead.

However, GMC has a history of making drain tubes too short and water would drain inside the vehicle no matter what. They had a recall on the GMC Acadia and the Chevy, Buick and Cadillac variants. The Envoy is the precursor to the Acadia so this could be your issue.

Gotta be windshield or sunroof drain as others have pointed out

Another thing to check...

There likely is a drain hole on the top of the fender where the hood hinge meets the firewall. Leaves and dirt can easily block the holes which causes water to pool then leak into the cabin.

This is likely it. Under the front windshield, under the front of the hood, is either one or two drain holes which drain the water which comes down off the front window under the hood. In some cars the drain is just a hole along the side of the engine. In other cars, like most Fords, the actual drain hole is down below the first plastic strip, which has to be removed to get to the actual drain. You have to find the drain and make sure it is clear. You may have to shove a wire down it to break up mud. Sometimes wasps clog it too.

Mine clogged up on my Ford and the symptom was exactly like yours, water on the front passenger floor when the windshield drain pan overflowed and the water came over the firewall into the passenger compartment.

Google is your friend in figuring out how to clear the drain. You can do this yourself.

This happened to my Jeep. Water would pour in after every rain.

My nanny has the Saturn vue 2009 model ( not exactly apples to apples but GM nonetheless) and it ended up being a clogged sunroof drain tube. She drove from Maine to Louisiana in January 2017 and it drained so much that it got all in the carpet , it grounded out the battery some kind of way, and fricked up the computer. Ended up costing a pretty penny to fix.

I am telling you this to tell you to find the problem and get it fixed as soon as possible. You don’t want a small problem to become huge.

Had the same thing happen to me. The rear window seal failed.

I found it by running a hose working my way up at perceived entry points until I found the leak.

if not, check and see if your sunroof drains are clogged...don't know if you have a sunroof though

Bingo - had this happen to me a number of years ago on a new company car. Fortunately, the dealership took care of it but it was a genuine pain. That had to pull the interior out, dry clean the carpet and reseat the windshield.

I drove a 2004 Envoy for 4 years.

I had a leak in my passenger floorboard as well. But it happened anytime I ran the AC and not after being in the rain. Found out it was my condenser drain hose and it was clogged with pine needles. I popped it out under the hood and water poured out for a good 5-10 seconds.

It may be any of the other suggestions here but this one is easy to check so verify before going through the other potential issues.
