$26,000 nonstep hull with 115 hp.
$32,000 with stepped hull and 150 hp.

This is according to the folks over at BBC.

Paid $22K for my Ranger (a proven brand, not some startup) and it looks like the same boat, only with a 150 instead of a 115 which is plenty

I’m weary of any boat manufacturer that pairs with Evinrude

The ranger 198’s with a 150 are around the same price. Maybe 1,000 less, and that is a more camparable boat to the 1980.

I’m kind of glad that the 198 wasn’t out when I bought my boat. I would of been really tempted to get the 198, but I was able to buy the 188 for under 30k with everything.

For the equivalent ranger, it cost 29,495, and it is half a foot shorter than the vexxus

Production issues and huge backlog. With the bigger outboards that is.

I heard someone say that the wait time on Yamahas are now over a year for anything over 150. I didn't think it was legit.

That's crazy.

I got a chance to look them over really good today. They are an impressive boat. In comparison to the Ranger aluminum, the Vexus appears to be far superior in design and build quality. I look forward to hearing about the on the water performance.

I am thoroughly impressed with them.

When you get your new vexus, you should name it "Daddy's Money." I bet he'd be proud.

You do know who owns Ranger now don’t you?

Bass Pro, the same company that has killed quality in several brands.

You see who Forrest Wood was sitting with today, right? Not in the Ranger booth. And I’ve been a Ranger loyalist for many many years. But that Vexus looks much better than the Ranger aluminum. I can’t wait to see the fiberglass boat.

ETA: The AVX189 starts at $26k with the 115 Merc 4 stroke.

ETA2: They said they are currently working with Yamaha and will be offering that option later in the year.

32,000 with a fortrex? Got to have that ultrex. What kind of electronics do you get for $32,000? I do like the toggle switches instead of buttons.

I have a RT-188 and this boat looks head above heals better. This is the sort of thing ranger should have done when they came into the aluminum market.

I wonder if these boats are made from .100 like the Rangers or they went with .125
