I was just happy to get rid of my POS ecoboost and into a V8 again. Now I have no worries about longevity of this vehicle

because they have to have leather, power everything, heated seats and steering wheel, automatic running boards, etc...
they were trying to sell me an XLT optioned the same way as this XL for almost $3,000 more

just like how people would rather buy a used, out of warranty truck with all the bells and whistles that's 4 years old instead of a brand new, not as optioned out one.

I bought a new ‘16 XLT 4x4 in August of ‘16 - the day before the flood for $35,700. I decided to upgrade to leather for $1k and spray my bed for $500. Walked out at $37,200 plus T,T&L. It’s got the big screen, sliding rear window, etc. which isn’t basic on all XLT’s. Now it is a 2.7 liter eco boost but pulls my trailer with 4 wheeler and lawnmower just fine. Avg’s just over 20mpg. Im happy.

I corrected an engineer the other day, does that count? I say corrected, but I mean asked them wtf was up with their plans not even coming close to scope of work required for the job, and it's a super small job.
