it was definitely a training run...spoke to my neighbor again tonight who was on one of the boats...he laughed when I told him it was all over the internet...he mentioned about the training that took place in New Orleans with some black helicopters and SEAL team 6 not too long ago...said that stirred up some internet kooks as well...

As much as I have a "healthy" distrust of my Government...I wholeheartedly believe that there were no ill intentions regarding this training run...as a friend if he tells me it was what he said it was, I believe him...

I think everyone has agreed to this. It is just this military training through a neighborhood that has everyone uptight.

I can't recall the terminology used...something to do with learning to make maps or take notes and observe your surroundings...

or maybe he really just didn't want to say that they were on a joy ride for fear of repercussions if it did get out that that is what they were doing...

Where else are they supposed to train?

Also, it doesnt look much like training when they are idling through a no wake zone.

Training occurs when they start they start shooting the guns, when they do that you should be worried.

No shooting is but a small small part of most training and ops

Again the govt doesn't need special opera or mercenaries
To quell civilians

Cut power grid and comms capitulation soon follows

You don't have to kill the enemy just remove their will and means to fight

No shite. Its often the shortest part. The ride there is often the longest. Hence my point about idling through a no wake zone.

Did you watch the video?

I understand the point. I get it "could" be part of the training. Even if it is, the guy in jeans looks to be the most serious of the bunch.

Yes and zooming in something just doesn't look like SEALs,
The more I watch the video the more I doubt those are SEALs in boats..

Three things jump out that just don't look right

Did this happen in the marshes between I-10 and US 11(Irish Bayou)?

Regular folks inside this country are not the one's that should be concerned about the SEALs.

The folks in charge that keep getting them killed and busting their anonymity might want to be a bit more concerned though.

And sorry, but the guys that make up blackwater or whoever they are these days and their competition that gets contracts in this country, ie Katrina are generally the same guys that are the Seals, Spec Forces, Rangers, Force Recon, etc. And some brits of similar capabilities. They have to be english speaking and well trained.

Yeah they were down there for companies like Mobil and whatnot protecting buildings for a few days.

No they were not breaking any laws or randomly killing people. Get a grip on your tinfoil hats.

Probably (Special Boat Team)SBT-22 out of Stennis. They are part of SEAL team 5.

I don't know where people get this from. They are NOT SEALs, nor are they part of any SEAL team.

They are Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewmen. They are highly trained to infil/exfil and assist special operations forces, mainly SEALs using small, fast, boats and other cool shite. They also operate with other spec ops forces like DELTA, Rangers, MARSOC, etc.

They train at Coronado but they do not go through BUD/S and they do not earn a trident. No trident, no SEAL.

The only thing I see wrong in that video is no one is out offering these soldiers a cold one.
