can't even be in possession of lead shot while duck hunting

got a ticket when I was younger for having one 20 gauge shell in the boat from rabbit hunting... while we all had 12 gauges.

Bring a rifle and a urnge (or now pink) vest in your pocket. Deer tags of course and deer harvest report card. I got my tags the other night and now have two wallets: one for money, CC's, etc., the other for the 2 ft string of deer and turkey tags. such a joke.

to add, if i'm duck hunting on public land I wear an urnge vest when walking to and fro. Crazy not to IMO.

Wrong wrong wrong

Not only is it a real law, it's unethical AF to shoot a deer with steel bird shot

quote:

Prohibited Activities:
Take of deer with firearms smaller than .22 caliber center-fire or shotgun loaded with anything other than buckshot or slug

Well, yeah. That too.

I guess if they had ducks it would be federal charges.

This is why you always carry a few buckshot while duck hunting, oh and an orange vest and make sure your license is current.

I've killed a few deer duck hunting in the past

I remember this being discussed back when the Robertsons shot that doe on what I believe was the second duck commander video. Correct me if I am wrong but somehow I think that was DMAP land and there was a loophole making that legal to shoot that deer and possess a rifle in the duck blind at the time.

Some of the charges, yes. It has always been against the law to shoot a deer with fine shot. Then no big game lic? Wrong! No tag on the deer? Wrong. Even on private land, hunting deer, one has to have at least a orange hat. No Orange. Wrong!

So no, NOT a money scam.
