Are you wanting a Tundra? The platinum can be had in the low $40s here.

Weird thing is, I dont like the Dodge, and it is a better looking Tundra. Makes no sense

Agree absolutely with that statement. Dodges look badass. However, will never ever ever own one again.

5k less that what I paid and could have easily gotten more but traded it in for easy

Trade ins don't count. They just add it to the new vehicle or hide it in the financing.

2011 with 40k miles for $35k Spend another 7k and get a brand new one.

You have a brand new Sequoia and only financed $7,000

Price and financing were decided before the trade in.

Ford has the better engine choices and Toyotas still have the oddball interior ergonomics.

Ford F150.

I think their drivetrains have improved over the years, but the styling is just trying too hard.

Where in my post did I say that? I said I could have bought a new truck (i.e. tundra) for 7000. My sequoia was over $60k

Drove them both. Bought the Tundra new in 2011. F150 came in second and my folks need up buying one of them. Both good trucks IMO.

If you need a truck to do work buy the Ford. If you just want a mall parking lot cruiser buy the Toyota. Toyota is working the bigger-is-better meme for all it's worth but lacks in the details.
