re: Truck advice needed

“TOW TRUCK sent by dealership and make them brang ya a loaner.”
That would normally work but with this issue it seems to reset itself when you turn the truck off. So when it gets to the dealership it will not show any issues. The only solution is to hope you are close to a dealer when it happens and then drive over and have them look at it immediately.

Bring it in to the dealer.
With the prices they are charging for new trucks, that truck should be rubbing your feet on your way home from work.

Or bring it to the nearest Toyota dealership and trade for a Tundra
Well my Bluetooth has been messing up on my Tundra so nothing is perfect.

Bring it in, make sure it is documented, and this isn't the first I have heard of this happening on new GM vehicles.

Lots of issues from new GM trucks take it in

I swore off GM vehicles 3 years ago when they wouldn't honor the warranty. Last two GMs turned to dog shite at 90K miles.

. I am leaning taking it in.
If it's a lemon you want the documenting to start as early as possible.... and what better way than showing it was from day one.

The GMs have had issues with the electronic power steering rack in the last few years.
Call your local GM dealer service department immediately with your 17 digit VIN to report it and do not drive it again until there is a satisfactory fix.
Document names, when and where you called. This is a safety issue. Do not risk your and your family's safety.
Good luck and let us know the outcome.

Record it on your phone. Send to the dealer. Profit.

I know that. Ive owned 3 GM branded chevy trucks. No issues just routine maintenance. Put over 200k on each of them.
I have never personally known anyone who owned a GM pick up who have any complaints. I have owned MANY of all three of the US brands as personal vehicles and fleet vehicles and the GM products have out performed all of them. Dodge with the cummins is a close second but expect everything BUT the drivetrain to quit working...all of the accessories etc. The least reliable were the F-150s but the 250-s were only marginally better. Have not owned a Tundra but my wife owned a Sequoia, same vehicle, different tin, and I wasn't overly impressed with it considering the initial cost. We bought a new Tahoe in 1998 and sold it 2 years ago with almost 500K miles on it and NOTHING wrong with it other than it was mule ugly...it was my hunting truck so it hadn't been loved a lot LOL. I would be shocked if that Sequoia was around at 500K and I know without any doubt if it is the maintenance will cost more than that Tahoe and, adjusted for inflation, the Tahoe cost about 60% what the Sequoia cost.
