Toyota Tundra beeping when un/locking

My dad recently got a new Tundra, and he wants me to make it quit beeping when he uses the key fob to lock/unlock it. I just went to check it out and I figured out that the sound is coming from somewhere behind/below the drivers' side headlight assembly, but beyond that I'm lost. Anyone here have any experience with this?

It's a Toyota thing, it's designed to do that

Check the toyota forums and see if there is a trick. I know on my jeep you can make the key fob do several things, lights, four door, two doors, horn, etc..., by doing a series of steps.

I think it's something like hold down both unlock and lock buttons at the same time for 5 seconds or somehting like that.. Honestly, I'm not sure. I did this years ago with my tacoma because I didn't want it to honk everytime, and it worked. Try it and see. If it doesn't work then

This is how you disable it on a Tacoma, I would assume it also works on a Tundra.
Step one: Open the drivers door and insert the key into the ignition
step two: Remove the key from the ignition and, within 5 seconds,
reinsert the key back into the ignition and switch to the on position.
Step three: After 10 seconds, the system enters the answer-back mode
step four: Within 10 of the answer-back beep the switching mode is
started, press the remote twice and the system will turn off
or on based upon which the system is set.

It's a lot of steps, but it works.
He can always take it to the dealership and pay $80 or so to have them turn it off.

There isn't anything about it in the Tacoma owners manual

Lookup techstream clone on tudratalk or tundrasolutions website. It's a valuAble cable to have if you don't mind Chinese knockoff software
