Toughest Naked and Afraid location

I have to admit that Naked and Afraid is one of my favorite shows and it's my go-to every Sunday night. I would love to one day try the shortened 14-day version just to see how I would do, but the one place I would not want to attempt this feat is in the Louisiana Swamp, followed by the African Safari. The swamp is just daunting with the plethora of water moccasins, alligators, mosquitoes and lack of dry land to build shelter and get a fire going. The Safari is just so dang hot, not to mention the lions, jaguars, elephants, hyenas and the lack of water.
So if you could try it once, what's the one place you would hate to be dropped off at?

Anywhere cold. There is a reason they dont have many cold locations.
I stopped watching NAF when they started adding in footage to make more dramatic, including animals. I think it was the Alabama one they "added" a Boomslang or some other species not even native to the Continent.
Edit: You should ask a question "what would be your one item?". For me, bug net... acts as bug net and fish net.

Anyone with an ugly naked woman.

I wouldnt mind the LA swamp vs the Rain Forest because its so damp and rainy in the amazon its hard to start a fire. Also there are so many things that can kill you in the rain forest even elevated in a canopy. In the swamp the gators wont really bother you and you just have to watch your step with the moccasins. Plus you can find lots to eat in the swamp. I think things to eat in rain forest you never know if they are poisonous (i.e. frogs, mushrooms, vines that are rancid, etc)
I think the desert is pretty much the toughest.
Either way I told my wife if I ever get in a situation where Im lost like that they will find me because I will set fire to the entire forest like Samson did with foxes

There's a local girl who was on one of the original shows.

Anywhere with horrible bugs. Bugs don’t bother me and mosquitos don’t bite me that bad like others, but screw one of those locations where they get 100s of bites at a time. That would be miserable.
They know where they are going ahead of time. So you study up on what you can eat and what not. Tons of food in the rainforest as long as you know what’s good.
The key to that show is getting a fire started and having available water. The two items everyone should be bringing is fire starter and a pot. Yet they never have both...guessing the show influences that.

i could probably make it 7 days if it's in a location that doesn't have mosquitos

Desert.
African safari or Louisiana has a plethora of food, you can get your water from munching grasses.
You go to the desert without being acclimated and you can't breathe after a 3 mile walk.
Even cold weather isn't that big of a deal. Small indentation lined with branches and cover yourself in branches/brush can keep you alive long enough to create shelter.
Give me a clean water source and I can literally meditate/sleep for 30 days.

Undoubtedly the swamp is the least habitable place they've tried to film the show. I remember one of the contestants quit Day 1 in LA because of the mosquitoes, she knew there was no way she could put up with it every second for 3 weeks.

Thats pretty crazy about your friends. Do they get paid?
Why dont these people keep their bodies covered in mud?

Outside of an island in the tropics, there isn’t a place I’d ever want to be dropped in completely naked. Everywhere else I’ve seen, its too cold to get any decent sleep at night, full of insects that eat you alive, or too hot and arid

Good idea! If I could bring one thing, it would have to be a fire starter, followed by a machete. I really like the idea of a bug net, but being cold at night in the pitch dark with dangerous animals around, I got to go fire starter!

One guy from Monroe said that covering in mud does not work. He said he tried everything... mud, smoke, etc. and nothing worked against the mosquitos. That said, the moment they knocked on my door I would cover myself with Off. That should help for the first half day.
If they supplied the fire starter I would bring a mosquito net and hope the other person would bring a machete.

How much weight did they lose? Are they going to be on an upcoming episode? I don't care who you are, you have to be a badass to make it out there 21 days anywhere! It's easy to say you can do it while sitting in your home with AC running and a cold beverage, but it's a different story when you're truly out there with nothing but a couple of items! Hats off to your buds!

Haven't seen the show in years but two scenerios that I always thought would two me out, (1) unbearable mosquitoes with no abatement, (2) being on some shadeless island and getting blistering sunburnt on the first day and no relief of shade.
