A rubber stall mat that you can pick up from Tractor Supply when you're getting the superior Cannon safe.

TS having any good safe sales this year?

What I'm excited about: during long days at the range, turn the microphone up and put ear plugs in. Still have normal conversation but 2x protection
I own those Leight's and do that for the additional protection. You will enjoy them.

I wore my muffs in the garage the other night while using skil saw. It was sorta relaxing.

Figured you wore them so you could take the edge off of your snoring?

48 gun Cannon safe for $700. They got it listed online and I'm posting on phone. I'm sure that they have deals on smaller safes too.
Ttt, you check TS for deals on smaller safes?
Judge, thanks for the reassurance. I haven't heard of anyone doing that before but figured it would work.

TS: 12 bolts and 12 gauge steel.
WM: 5 bolts,? Gauge steel, waterproof, home delivery.
Also, TS weighs 100lbs more. That weight cold come from anywhere though.
Imo, important things to weigh on WM: gauge steel and 5 locking bolts (that's really bad).

FWIW
If you read the reviews for the Stack-On safe on the Wally world website, several of the reviewers state that they bought it earlier this year for just over $400.
Several fellas even posted to their reviews saying that the black Friday price was higher at $497
The black Friday deals aren't all "deals"

Still can't believe that it only has 5 locking bolts. I thought it was a typo but other websites said the same. However, none listed the steel thickness.

Just something to think about. I would not have a gun safe delivered to my home if there is any other alternative. Could make you a target for home break in. I prefer to buy and pick up myself.

Most of the home security containers are 12 Ga Maybe 10ga if you spend a little extra.
Not going to get to the good stuff at 7ga unless you spend big $$ of a safe

I agree. Most RSCs are 12 gauge with some 10 them in. But why won't the Wally World brand post their gauge thickness?
shite, the Fatboy that I want is only 10 or 12 gauge but several layers of it.
Also, as Ttt saw, 12 bolts > 5 bolts.

I like the cannon TS6040 at TS for $699
still seems small for my needs...not enough room for all my long guns with the shelves in place...would have to reconfigure it completely or lose ammo storage. and personal belonging storage...I really need a 64 gun or larger...
I'd like one with the 10 long gun storage rack on the door...

The ones I see with this, when the door closes, the rack on door buts up to the guns in the safe not allowing the door to close

good to know...I may have to actually shop "hands on" I need plenty of long gun security.

For those interested. You can improve fire rating by adding a layer fire rated drywall on either the inside or outside of the safe.

If the welds are tack welded and not a single, solid line the heat will travel between the cracks and superheat anything inside to the point of catching fire.
I like the TS 48 gun but I saw how fast my dad's filled up. I don't even have as many guns as him but more gadgets and ammo that need to be stored inside. 64 for me.
