Was in Cocodrie this weekend. Had a two man limit and back at the camp by 8:30am Saturday & Sunday..

I did go down this weekend but not really to fish. I put the yak in the water behind the camp for a lil exploratory mission. Water was dirty. My cousin did manage one red off the bank.

We caught limits on thursday and friday at the island. I heard good reports from the surrounding well heads and platforms too. All of our fish were 2-4lbs, solid fish.

As we were finishing our limit friday, we were catching them 2 at a time. I wished I had an alabama rig just for the fun of it. I know i could have hooked more than 2 at a time just not sure I could have got all 3 or 4 in the boat.

@bleed.... Were ya'll crabbing from the beach? I fished on the beach Sat a.m., but didn't really look to see if anyone was crabbing. Been thinking about buying a few traps. Never crabbed before.
