Yeah, I watched a vid on one yesterday. Never seen a yak turn so sharp. I guess I don't get the squared off back, but I haven't given them too much thought. I have 3 yaks at the house now. No way I can come up with a reason to get a 4th unless I can teach a terrier how to peddle.

I think the squared off rear end is what helps it turn so well. Even the Titan 13 turns way sharper than I would have ever expected that big arse boat to turn lol.

I got to demo my first Jackson FD two weekends ago. With all the new pedal drive systems on the market, I thought this one was the most thought out/innovative. After pedaling it, I wasn't as impressed. I found the drive to be hard to pedal, alot of resistance in the pedals. It almost felt as if it needed to be lubricated or something maybe. The steering is a little strange too but I'm sure that's something that you just have to get used to after some time. It's similar to, but the exact opposite of, a zero turn lawn mower. Everytime I wanted to turn right I ended up going left LOL.

I'm gonna buy that big arse Titan one day. Right now it has been sidelined for other priorities (house and truck).

The current Titan is way too big. The new 12 might be just right.

If my son's Manta Ray had open front, it would be my perfect yak.

I definitely want to try out the 12 and compare them. I do like a lot of room though. That's the one thing that makes me lean toward the bigger boat.

I just know that Eddie's slip at PAC isn't wide enough for a Titan. Lol

Yeah, it's a big boat. I'm sure the 12 still has plenty of elbow room. I want to see if there are any significant differences in weight and speed.

You sure? I thought he said he had recently added 2 more slips that were 48" wide.

Anyone in BR checked out the kayak and canoe launch at Highland Park? At least I think it's Highland Park.

I was working in Lake Charles today and drove right by Calcasieu Point and Fred's. Have you ever fished it?

Looking for the best gear trac ready go pro mount. Is the dog bone panfish from yak attack my best option? I like the height of the broom stick mount but to get camera access I have to stand up and turn around. Ideas/feedback?

I was there a few weeks ago and caught a lot of small trout. The main channel was full of boats and the water was low.

I've only ever fished out of Choupique or West Cove in that area. I need to try more areas but never do.
