I'm gonna try to go Tuesday and check it out. Let you know

They are also having a toy drive. Toy equals free launch. Ill probably bring a couple to drop off.

Planning on going Tuesday also. How is the travel situation down there? I would be driving in from the Northshore. Are any roads closed? Will I be able to make it?

Can anyone recommend a place near new orleans to store a hobie outback on a small trailer? Moving down to the area and the place I am initially staying doesn't offer trailer parking. Thank you

Wanted to go yesterday but the launch was still closed but my understanding all the roads open so you shouldn’t have any issues
I ended up in Dulac and found some really nice water in some marsh holes off some main channels and only needed a trout to hit for the cycle

You are gonna want somewhere with 24 hour access. When I lived downtown houston I just got a storage unit to put my SxS kayak and trailer in. 80 bucks a month but needed

Where exactly is that launch? I may try Spicer's on Saturday if the wind isn't too bad.

Water was a little dirty. Got 12 or 13 specks in the box with a few real nice ones. Pics added when I get home

If anyone is looking to get into kayak fishing or is looking to upgrade to a pedal kayak, I am selling my 2018 Old Town Predator PDL and accessories. Its a great little rig, I just don't use it as much as I would like. Its been kept in a storage unit the whole time I have had it and the drive still has two years left on the warranty. I figured I would offer it to OBers before I put it on Facebook. I'll knock a few hundred off the package for any of you baws.

If interested shoot me an email Drunkencrawfishtd@gmail.com

Full item list:

Old Town Predator PDL - Camo
C-Tug with SandTrax Wheels
Bed Extender
Wilderness Systems Thrive Baitwell
Frabil folding net
Lowrance Hook2x Depth Finder
Hobie Marine Battery
Stake Out Pole - 8ft
Hobie Paddle
Magellan Fish Bag
Two Zooka Tube rod holders
Hawg Trough Ruler
Life Jacket

Got a free day on Monday. Torn between Port Sulphur and PAC. What do y’all think?

I know SWLA is toast with all of the rain they got last week. Besides that all I can say is you can’t catch them in the kitchen.

I never knew this thread existed! I own a Hobie Outback and Wilderness Ride. Haven't been able to take them out in a couple years but am itching to get out there in the next month.

I normally fish Leeville. Anyone been down there lately?

I went to Lake Hermitage yesterday (Saturday) and the water was crazy low and when there was deeper spots to be found it was dirty. Buddy and I managed to find 1 red a piece but it was tough. We are thinking of heading to pac tomorrow rather than back down hwy 23.
