I honestly didn't think they would that well

Go big! I was surprised at how many 360’s i saw at the launch for Minimalist Challenge. Must’ve seen about 6 of them
5 of 6 were probably Hobie team members who got them for the price of a standard PA.

I recently moved to the New Orleans area, and I'm looking to start fishing in my kayak within the next few weeks (as soon as I'm able to get it from Alexandria). Anyone know of any good groups to join for some advice on the area? I pretty much have a couple areas mapped out that I would like to start with, but I'm looking for some friendly discussion about kayak fishing over here in the eastern part of the state.
I'm sort of new to the sport, so the only fishing I've really done out of it has been in Big Lake.
Any advice is welcome.

Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club(BCKFC) has a ton of guys from out near NOLA, they're good people.

What's the prize this year at B&G?
Posted on 2/13/20 at 11:03 am to LSUlefty
I'm don't think they've said yet, in all my years of attending B&G I haven't won a single thing.

I've now been to 3 and haven't win anything.

6 out of 130+ entries isn't a lot when you consider most that fished it. And I can name off 4 of them already and I think 3 out of the 4 are on the hobie team.
On another note Jackson Kayak is coming out with big news soon. I can't share it at the moment, but it's coming!

Like YOURADHERE said, BCKFC. They have a website with message forum (bayoucoast.com) but their Facebook group is a lot more active. "Bayou Coast Kayak Fishing Club - Group Discussion"

I do need to restock! The real question is though, which beer are you bringing this year?

A bunch of stuff from Urban South. The real question is what beer is NATIVE bringing this year?

Aren't you a Native Rep? How's the Slayer Max? Btw, saw it at P&P and it's bigger than I thought.

And are there any plans to put the propel drive into an SS127?
Inquiring minds and all.
