But for how long? From what I’ve read, they are still wanting to charge for third party hosting. It’s just not the astronomical fee they originally were wanting to charge

I recently renewed my photobucket account for around $60/yr. or so and I have 3rd party hosting again.

Saw something that I never saw before a couple days ago. Was sitting on the patio drinking a cold one. Out of no where, a Mocking Bird came flying down across the yard. Next thing I saw was that the bird was attacking a 18"-20" garden snake. Dang bird was even lifting some of the snake in the air. That went on for a couple minutes till the snake made it's way into the woods.

I know Mocking Birds are bad, but to attack a snake that big was unreal.

We went to check on summer food plots at hunting lease. This fellow was crossing the highway across from the Brewton, AL airport.

YT vid of encounter

Eastern Diamondback.
BTW, it was left to live another day.

Thanks!

I'd love it if people would identify when they know. I've said this multiple times, but I am trying to learn these blasted critters.

No, I should apologize. My post came off as a criticism, but I meant it as a suggestion.

A guy who wants to see an Eastern Diamondback on purpose would be considered weird in many circles.

Ringneck my brother caught tonight in Picayune...

Corn snake my son caught in MS a couple weeks ago - I’m jealous because I’ve never seen one in the wild.

Midland water snake? My son saw this in Tunica Hills and sentthe pic to me for ID - I’ve never seen a Midland since they aren’t native to my area, but Midland was my guess. Pretty for a water snake.

A few updated pics of some of my babies:

Jungle Jaguar Carpet Python..

Brazilian Rainbow Boa (hypomelanistic)...

Zebra Jungle Carpet Python...

Diamond Python (60/40 Diamond/Jungle cross)...This girl is going to be a stunner when she gets bigger and colors up. Getting more yellow each shed. I had posted her (and a pic of her mom) back in September (page 20) when I first got her. Her specks are starting to stand out a lot more.

And lastly, an older pic of my Green Tree Python - I may have posted this one before, but I just love this photo of him...

Found a baby box turtle under my hose today. Over 45 years combing the woods for reptiles and I’ve NEVER seen a baby box turtle until today. One of the high points of my herping career. Cute little guy - put him in his natural habitat (a box) until I can go release him tomoroow somewhere where he won’t end up flattened in the street.
