Thanksgiving eve Buck

Brought my son on a bow hunt trip to Kansas. Got here mid morning and went to check out a few of the locations. Came back to the lodge got settled in and then went out for an afternoon sit. Had a nice 10 that had been visiting the area frequently so was hoping to see him.
Guide sent me a pic from the card he pulled from the stand when we were there earlier and there was a huge 9 that was there early that same morning. Sent my son the pic and said this was a 2nd shooter buck in the area. His reply....”I’m looking at him right now”. LOL!!
15 minutes later my phone is ringing and my son is hyperventilating he was so shook up! Smoked him at 20 yds. Watched him fall 70 yds away! His first bow kill!
So now we’re here for 2 more days with just our cameras! LOL!

That’s great. Took a couple of father-son Kansas bowhunts on Thanksgiving break. We would stop and trout fish on the way back in Arkansas.
