Maybe I was with him and we killed three.

Don't get all bent up because we are now dominating.

it's all good, but he can only claim 6 points for a limit of specks.

I would have if I could have found some spoonies!

I can only be a duck snob so long, most of these guys don't give a crap what they shoot as long as they shoot. The damn things are so aggressive they run all the good birds off.

Both of my areas in Louisiana and Mississippi are currently closed. Just letting y'all know so you can take this time to grease your calculators up in preparation for the real season. Second split is normally my most productive time.

Now to recap the first split. OK. That's about all I can say. It got real tough from the Monday after Thanksgiving on. Duck numbers greatly declined as temperatures rose and weather stayed the same.

Ditto for us too. I have noticed the birds that typically stay onshore have moved to the middle of the big lakes and bays. Mechant, Lost, Four League Bay and Bay Junop all have very large concentrations of birds on them. Friday afternoon, we could hear the greys, wigeon and pintails calling while drifting Mechant. Mudboats would run through them and they go right back down, like they do on the refuge at Catahoula.

Team Fap doing work!!

I would like to apologize for not having anything to contribute so far. With my public land not flooding the timber, it is not holding even the woodies at this point. The 3 naturally flooded slews are also WAY down due to the drought.
I Hope things pick up this week. Thanks for dragging my sorry arse along.

Should this be 18 points or 16? Hard to tell but looks like two teal.

Keep watching as team Fap glydes away with the victory.

*Disclaimer*

The above statement relies heavily on rain in the next few weeks. If it stays as dry as it is, my season is all but over.

They can have those two points. LSUballs should kick in to gear next split and maybe MSwebfoot will have some opportunity as well.
