Anyone heading down to GI this week for Tarpon Rodeo? There's always a good turn out and the island is usually near capacity. Traffic is typically a shite show with quite a bit of entertainment along the way.
The Hurricane Hole Invitational is this week as well.

We're ready- my 16 year old has been scouting tarpon spots for the last two weeks.
I would rather we stick with the normal species, but I'm down with what he wants to do.

Island hasn't been packed for Tarpon Rodeo in a few years. Blue Boot is where it's at now.

Nowhere near what it used to be. All in all, still a good time, though. Like previously stated, the blue boot is now the biggest rodeo on the island nowadays.

I used to love coming here for the post Tarpon Rodeo stories and getting emails of pictures and videos. The good old days of Tarpon!
