Talk me out of a SilencerCo Sparrow 22

I love my sparrow. I have a Spectre II that I also really like.

Do you need to have ultimate sound suppression?

Do you already have a 9mm suppressor and 9mm pistols?

It might be worth looking at something like an Obsidian 9mm. It works really well with 22lr.

Another option for you might be the Switchback or Oculus, especially if you ever think you'll want modularity.

Siren is phenomenal but is currently discontinued. Supply chain issue for carbon. Will be produced again in the future. To OP, get a CGS hydra AL for lightweight or Rugged Oculus or Thunderbeast TD22 if you want heavier more hard use cans. The oculus is awesome and it's what I have. I use it in the short config for rifles and long for pistols. Short config is same damage to your ears (basically none) on a rifle as the long configuration on the Oculus.

Is made out of aluminum? If so I would avoid due to it being a pain to clean. I would get another mask

I looked really hard at the oculus and had decided that was my decision.

Got to the store and another that was on my list was the Dead Air Ghost. The dealer had both at the time so I was able to really go over them both and thread them on a couple of guns at the store.

The ghost is weighted more on the gun end where the oculus is more balanced. The ghost felt better on the gun to me.

I assume you mean the Mask. Ghost is their 45 can and it sucks compared to the Obsidian 45. Mask is good but Dead Air is plagued with QC issues. I wouldn't buy anything they make.
