Tacks on feeder legs

"shark teeth" and "coon Stoppers" have been sold for years. Only a matter of time before the masked bandit figures out a solution

A varmint blocker on the motor works better than the strips. Our coons learned how to use the strips as footholds for climbing better.

If you can, put a hand trap on each leg of the feeder and keep killing until it gets somewhat manageable. I got up to 11 then they seemed to move on.

Ok, I am intrigued by this.

I used tacky strips that you put down with carpet and they worked fine.

I used Vaseline and the deer were gone for a year.

what kind of tack strips did you use?

I like the trail camera pictures where one coon is trapeezing off one leg and flicking the spinner to feed his whole posse of buddies underneath.

I have had good luck with putting a long piece of 4” pvc on each leg

Golden Malrin… usually keeps the coins away most of the season. Should help with flies too…
