Summer solstice has passed time to think about getting ready for hunting season

Anyone else started to get the itch yet? Yes it's still a ways away but atleast from here on out the days will be getting shorter!

I'm thoroughly enjoying the longer days because I have a long list of things to do around the house. With that said, I plan on spending much more time in the field this year. So yes I'm getting the itch!

Our sunflower patch is looking great for dove season. We always considered that the start of hunting season.

Just got my Cabela's bow hunting catalog today and I was thinking, "damn, I haven't fished enough yet"

Definitely looking forward to dove season, we slaughtered them last year. It's gonna need to cool off a bit before I can get fired up to sit in a deer stand though.
