U got to consider keeping it simple and of couse reliable. A hammerless 5 shot wheel gun is the concealed gun. You can load 38 special pp and be well protected.

I use a Ruger sp101 in stainless and load hot .357 for just in case situations. My sp101 was reworked ported barrell and the action was honed and with 38's its scarey accurate and fast.

The best thing is it never fails. If I were voting for a holster gun it waould be a Sig in a .40.

The Rohrbaugh is definitely an attractive looking gun w/ lots of desireable traits, but price is NOT one of them......$1300!

can you put a price on safety...think about this, if it is too big or too heavy, you will never carry...therefore making what you purchased for carrying into an expensive nightstand beauty. don't be cheap when it comes to you or your loved ones safety.

by the way, i carry a glock 26 ($500) and i love it!

The Glock is a fine gun. I bet the Rohrbaugh is also a fine gun. While I agree you cannot put a price on safety, I'll put forth tat I know I can find a number of very good self defense/concealed carry guns that are as good, if not better than the Rohrbaugh, yet cost much less than $1300. The money saved can then be spent on additional training, ammo and possibly a second gun that would be more appropriate for certain situations than the Rorhbaugh.

I love my XD. The reason i went with the glock was the fact that it had less "stuff" hanging off of it to snag then the XD had. I could have gotten an XD with a more basic profile, but i am impatient and they didn't have any on the show rooms in BR like i liked. Hell the XD that i wanted was no where to be found in BR to i went to New Orleans after work and bought my XD.
