My cousin as an agent. It is dangerous for sure.
I do know he hates the summer time. He says dealing with drunks on the tickfaw (prop stop) sucks bad. Real bad.
Lots of respect for the wildlife agents.

My God!
These motherfrickers need to be dealt with quickly with extreme prejudice.

Me too. It's a thankless job and you face some real dangers out there from some highly irrational people at times.

Can't link from work, but WAFB story saying
"He was next to his patrol vehicle. Investigators are looking into the possibility of an accidental shooting."
Doesn't make sense.

Yeah I'm not buying how it's accidental. maybe they are just trying to get the ones responsible to come out of hiding before they lay down the 1st degree murder charges.

It seems like for every good respectful outdoorsman there's 5 methed out tards running around out there. I hope they find the dickless count(s) who did it.

Beast Rabban - Do you know if he had place (at some point) outside of Centreville?

News said he was found at 7:00 in the morning and his last radio communications was around 2:15 that morning I think.
I don't know what the DWF protocols are for radio communication are but that sends a red flag up for me right there. Seems like they should have sent someone to check on him it he was out of contact for that long.

There are definitely enough bad seeds out there to give the outdoorsman a bad rep. Shouldn't be that way but people who don't know any better will make these kind of assumptions.

Sorry SFT I have no idea. Paul and I played ball together at Catholic but ran with different crowds and I only saw him a couple of times after graduating and one of those was the 20yr reunion.
Was a great guy in high school and never seemed any other way the few times I talked to him since then, a real loss and prayers go out to his loved ones.

Just heard about this. What I am wondering is two things.
1.) Why was he not wearing his jacket?
2.) Why after dark are there not two agents in the truck?
3.) Why did dispatch not try to talk to him for 4 hours?
4.) Why did it take nearly 30mins to report to the 5-0?
