Appears Tyler Jordan has killed the new typical record at Honey Brake. 203”

Anyone heard anything about this?

Realtree must have been the highest bidder

Tyler’s IG account shows a 203” buck. Looks like some deductions, but a tremendous, beautiful buck.

Saw it when he posted it. Not shocked, that area has the genetics and they have the resources to let him get the needed age.

That’s a good one.

This is probably the picture right before he shot it.

Seeing as how the kill went down after dark for him a few years ago in MS…

Couldn’t care less about the person who shot the deer, but growing a 200” free range typical in Louisiana is pretty damned impressive.

Yes it is. Interesting to see what is possible to grow free range.

Yeah I'm more impressed with the folks who grew that low fence than I am with the dude who paid to shoot it

I bet it’s not as hard as you think especially along the MS river. Just have to let them get some age, as in 6-7yrs old.

Now you and I both know that no coonass is letting a buck get to that age. It would get shot as a damn good 2.5yr old or for sure shot as a great 3.5yr old.

Dewey is right there and gets hammered with connasses every year.

It’s really impressive that they were able to keep that deer alive and quiet for so long.

Can you do that after they’re dead? I wouldn’t know.

If I killed that deer, I would be too busy pulling my own junk to worry about pulling on the dead deer’s.

I find this free range claim highly suspect. Just can't believe the Catahoula/Concordia native never got a crack at this beast.

Stud deer.

I'm also glad they brought back their old school camo. It makes me feel like I'm 12 yrs old again when I put it on.

Not hard to believe when you know the deer lived on 30,000 acres of private where about a half dozen folks get to kill bucks each season.

Yeah it’s not a little 1000 acre tract with clubs all around…it is a massive amount of land
