State Inspectors throw out 1600lbs of donated venison. (Updated pg 3)

This story pisses me off so bad. I donate at least one deer a year to this charity. The guy processes it for nothing and aranges all the distribution. Doing it for years. Such a freaking waste.

Any time I'm given deer meat I always wonder how long it was dead before being cleaned and put on ice.

Goddammit seriously? This is hard to swallow. I donate to them and I've used Bellevue more than a few times to process deer. There is ZERO reason for anyone to mess with that meat. Eta if LDWF is a supporter of this program they need to take a stand here.

Exactly. Wasted resource because of one idiot. All that meat should be replaced out of the budget of the health dept. Preferably through that guys firing and from what he would have earned.
