It's nice to see some companies still able to innovate and come up with new ideas. With the increasing popularity of pistol optics, this is a pretty interesting handgun. I would probably be more inclined to get one in 45 (if they offer it) for the lower cost per round. But the 10mm is a hoss and this combo could make for a good sidearm in the woods with pigs around.

Comes in both 5" and 6" models. Pictures and links below:

Caspian had a Rock Island-based 10mm 1911, optics ready, a few years ago. Kimber did one last year I think too.

Pretty bad arse gun. I’m guessing it’s gonna cost a pretty penny?

MSRP is $2500+ so it's on par with a Kimber Super Jagare and less than a $4,000 Ed Brown LS10. If you go RIA/Caspian/RMR and know a good gunsmith you could set yourself up for $1,500.

Aww man, 10mm is where it's at. Once I find a new job, I think I'm gonna pick up a S&W 1006 to be the classy brother of my off-road G20

Can make a .500 be the bitch if you get a Magnum Research BFR and put in the 450 Marlin cylinder...

You wrist will probably become a bitch too.

For a sidearm in the woods... I'll take the FNX 45 Tactical.

But a 10mm would be a nice addition one day.

Night and day on the guns and the round.

FNX is a bulky gun but a very good one.
You really can't compare the 10mm vs .45
