I don't think I could even encounter a fish face to face much less touch it and get a hook out of it's mouth.

Never thought of that. It would be an impossible task to even get to where fish may be.

It has been a long long time since I did that sort of thing. We used to go out to Audobon too, in the middle of the night. There was a security guard who'd ride around the park and course in a golf cart. We'd make it a game to follow him, yet avoid him. He'd usually catch us, tell us the park is closed, and we'd say "ok" and leave.

I've done shrooms one time in my life, and it was the best night of my life in terms of crazy thoughts and memories with my best friend that I will never forget.

ETA: I'm not married nor do I have children, so take the term best night of my life loosely.

This is actually very much edible. Similar to a portobello. This fungi is what becomes a "puffball". After it spores out. But early on , like u see it now, it's not too bad. I grill them.

Could you have a stump or roots buried where they are growing?

Last year I had some where I'd cut and grinded the stump of a pine tree some 15 years ago.

You can eat them at a certain stage- according to this link I found for you.

I was thinking just in your local pond. Just think if you hooked a catfish or something. Imagine that thing while on shrooms. Thinking it's talking to you or something while it's saying "glub glub glub". And you're sitting there having a freaking conversation with it...or a panic attack and you just start stomping on the motherfricker.

There shoukdnt be any stumps there. The pin oaks were trimmed earlier this year but all the branches were hauled off.

No way in hell hunting is a good idea

I did some tea before a dove hunt during college. Pretty sure the best shooting I've ever done. I knew better than to chug down a big cup of tea. Rest of the guys just sat and laughed and ran around and picked up birds. I'd have given my left testicle to have a GoPro on that hunt. A couple of the guys ended up in Daytona the next day.
