Was cutting some honey suckle out of our fence and came across this guy. Pretty sure it's a green mamba, just posting here for confirmation. Ran in and got my 12ga and blew his head off from a safe distance. Only good snake is a dead snake. Yeehaw.

Thanks. That's what I thought. He was easily 6 feet long and as thick as my wrist.

the green mamba they used to have (might still have) at Audubon zoo was a freaking bad arse. Most of the other snakes just sat there but that fricker was constantly slithering all around his little cube. Amazing how fast they are.
