Do you hunt up north a lot?

I wear my lightweight waders majority of the season.

Imo not worth the $ for here, you will only get the benefit from the once a year or so on a big artic front.

Not worth the $ and neither is the $420 backpack, $80 beanie and several of their other products.

The waders are comfortable but that comfort isn't worth $1,000. You can still puncture them while in 20 degree water and you're just as fricked as you would be in $70 magellan waders.

I'll get downvoted but it's just my opinion.

Yeah you probably aren’t getting Sitka waders on sale from then direct. You might catch a Mack’s or Rogers sale though. They aren’t even included with the Sitka outfitter discount. I will add they replace them with no questions asked and their customer service is outstanding which is basically like their version of KY.

I agree. You don’t need super high quality down here. I wear Sitka and FirstLite in Montana because it’s warm af and great quality for spending a week in the mountains.

Sitka waders are uninsulated, no?

You can wear them all duck season in the South if you want.

Just depends on how much money you want to spend

it doesn't need to be cold to wear sitka waders

But $1000 is a lot for some waders

to me its only worth it if you guide or hunt 40+ times a season

Agree $1k for waders is crazy but my understanding is they have a lifetime warranty.

If you could afford them and hunt a lot, I could see it making sense as you won’t buy another pair again.

Both Sitka and Chêne are uninsulated. Why would you only get the benefits during “Artic Fronts”?
Makes it look like you don’t have a clue about either brand.
I doubt you would find sales on either brands.

Never said shite about Chene because you're right, I am not familiar with them.

The boots on the Sitka are insulated, I took the leg padding as insulation but technically it is not. Regardless Gore-tex is fricking hot/warm. The warranty is nice but for the price I can buy half a dozen pairs and rotate/repair as needed.

I have Sitka but mostly for western hunting, have the bibs but use them for fishing. Most guides that I am friends with have Simms which is what I would use if I hunted more than I do now.

Go try and start shite on the OT.
