Sig P365 or Hellcat. What say the OB

About to purchase one of these and I am torn.
I put my hands on both today and I like both weapons. They are almost identical in size and features. Sig has a safety and the Hellcat does not. With either I will be carrying with the extended mag. They are similarly priced.
SIG pros
-Better trigger
-More confidence in Sig brand (made in USA)
-Standard night sights front/rear
Sig cons
-Less capacity by one than the Hellcat (10+1 and 12+1)
-Early models had some issues, supposedly fixed by now.
-Will have to purchase the extended mag separately ($50.00)
-Proprietary rail system
Hellcat pros
-Higher capacity (11+1 and 13+1)
-Feels great in hand - slightly better than the Sig but it’s close
-Comes with flush mag and extended mag
-Standard rail
-Comes optics ready from the factory
Hellcat cons
-less brand confidence though I don’t have experience good or bad with Springfields (made in Croatia)
-Trigger not as smooth as the Sig but it’s a decent stock stock trigger (better than Glock).
- night sight on front only
Any input or experiences with these 2 firearms to help with this decision would be appreciated.

I looked at one these as well. Awesome little gun.
One of the main goals is maximum concealability. I don’t anticipate pocket carrying often but I would like to have the option. Most often will be IWB for which I want to keep barrel length to a minimum.

I bought a Hellcat and liked it so much I bought another.

The 365 was just too small for my hands. If my hands had any moisture I couldn’t grip the gun real well. I went to a G43x. It’s perfect size for me and with Shield Arms 15 rd mags it’s like carrying a mini G19.

I don't have any experience with the Hellcat but I have had a Springfield XDM Compact .45 for over 5 years and it has never given me any trouble. I have run all kinds of ammo through it and it has never had a FTF or FTE.
I would have no qualms about purchasing any Springfield pistol.

I own a P365 and it's an awesome gun. Mainly use it with the 15 round extended mag and it fits my hand a lot better. Sig hands down gets my vote. I've run a couple thousand rounds through it and not a single issue.

I held both yesterday as well. I surprisingly preferred the Sig, however I didn't get to shoot them.

I have the 365 xl and really like the little gun a lot. It shoots like a much bigger gun. I have pretty big hands (9 7/8” pinky to thumb) and I have no issue holding it at all.
You said you may want to pocket carry some. I not gonna say you can’t, but it’s too big for that for me and I will also say that I have a shield and it’s too big to pocket carry.

Similar here. Bought an older model, maybe the first model of an XD in a .40. Later bought the XDSC in .40 as a carry gun and left the other in the house. Same magazines and ammo for each. Eventually ended up with my XDs 9mm. All three have been great.

Sig - I personally love the sig grip better, but like the sight picture better on the hellcat. I would love the 365 with the hellcats sights.

If you do the p365, i would check the born date. Preferrably one made late next yr at the oldest to ensure to get one with all the latest changes on it.
Its on a sticker on the box.

Just bought a P365 and love it. Very concealable and comfortable in the hand.
Personally I don’t like the trigger safeties and there is one on the hellcat but that’s just a personal opinion

Why would anyone buy a Springfield pistol?

Palmetto state armory has the Sig P365 with (3) 12 round mags and a holster for $549 + free shipping!
Sucks for me cause I bought the same gun from my FFL for $525 with just (2) 10 round mags!

Have you had any issue with it? I was going to order one but I've read a few bad reviews.
