I'm not selling any guns again, ever.

I sold some of my Dad's after he died. (Needed the money for Mom's care) I regretted it.

That said, I bought a cool 12 ga today, so I see your point.

I'll never understand this mentality, but I'm not very attached to guns. And if it's not a legitimate tool I use (shotgun, deer rifle, etc) I don't really feel a need for it anyway. I wouldn't feel bad about selling a gun I never shoot

Well, It just seems like you end up needing it down the road for a particular application.

I could see it with some guns. Guess it all depends.

I was hanging on to my bow even though I'm not using it much, I think I decided I'm gonna sell it now. By the time I get serious about bowhunting again I'll want a new one anyway I guess. It ain't doing me no good up on the wall

Especially guns with no paper.

They'll always be worth more.

I disagree, practicality is a non-homosexual trait IMO

I'm gonna sell my bow and 7mm mag to fund my recent 1911, ar15 craze. I bought the 7mm thinking bigger is badder but I don't hunt anymore and everything went right through at 75 yards. I haven't shot my bow in 6 years.

I've got an Uzi model B that just sits in the cabinet... I've actually listed it for sale a few times to buy something else but I always change my mind (and buy the other gun anyway)

I know I'll regret it later

I'm selling my bow and guitar/amp sometime soon and I think I'm gonna fund a speargun and freedive gear with it (or some of it). That or a bowfishing bow. Haven't decided yet. Depends on how fast the surface drive rigging get done.

shite, I've got a tec9 that I picked up and have never shot and probably never will. Every time I see it in the safe I wonder if I would miss it if I sold it and convince myself that I would.

I have sold 3 guns in my lifetime and I regret selling each one.

Don't even know what this means...

Seriously, sell it if you need to in order to purchase the firearm that is practical and would get used. It's not like the AK is losing value

I would sell if you never use it. I have sold 1 gun in my life and don't regret it. I sold a 44 snub node to a friend and he said if I want it back he'll sell it to me for what he gave me.

On a similar note, I bought a snub-nose .357 model 66-2 in 1991 for $125 from a guy I worked with. A year later I was in a pawn shop and thought I wanted a tech 9. The guy told me he'd trade me straight up the .357 for a brand new tech 9. I almost did it, but decided something must not be right for him to want to do that. I'm glad to this day that I kept the .357. It still rides in my center console.

Meh - safe queens....get something you will put to use, guns are meant to shoot not collect dust.
