Until I can get my hands on an M1A I'm not buying a combat-oriented firearm.

I just don't see a societal breakdown or civil war or anything in my lifetime, and I don't really have a want for an "assault" rifle otherwise. I'd rather get another deer rifle or a badass over under or things like that. If I really had money to blow I'd probably get a cheap AK for shits and giggles but that's about it. I really wouldn't care much if they were banned, it's what a ban symbolizes that bothers me more. I don't have anything against the guys that are into them, but it just ain't my cup of tea

The fact that people actually prepare for those possible SHTF possibilities just comes off as loony to me. Hey,love shooting an AR. Have shot many semi and full auto weapons and it was cool but that's about it. Anyone claiming to need a semi auto weapon such as these is just retarded.

BTW,everyone talking about educating people between the difference between the civilian AR and the full auto military versions,I am much more accurate in semi auto mode as well as the military so that argument is weak sauce.

I do not own any "assault rifles."

I only own semi-automatic rifles and pistols, bolt action rifles, shotguns and revolvers.

C'mon...you don't really think that Al-YOU-Min-E-Um foil does anything?

Seriously though, why in the world would anyone want the government telling you what you can and cannot buy to defend yourself. It is not a military weapon regardless of the hype.

We as civilians cannot buy full auto (OTC) and if we do, it is technology prior to 1986. We do not have access to: certain types of bullets, laser target designators, most explosive devices, military grade electronics.....the list goes on...for the longest time we weren't allowed accurate GPS technology.

The Government actively moving to disarm the population should scare anyone familiar with the next step after disarmament. Sig Heil M'F'er.

Its not like I have years worth of canned goods stockpiled or anything..

The fact that you completely deny any possibility of any sort of societal breakdown happening is loony to me. I mean it took 1 hurricane and New Orleans was a shite show.

Then again what was that thing about sheep not wanting to believe in wolves again?

Why is this even the argument. Full auto goes through bullets too fast and wastes a bunch of shots and is nowhere as accurate as semi auto.

If you just.have to have full auto, the Bumpski stocks are legal aren't they. And don't tell me they're not "real full auto".
I've shot everything from an AR15 to Saiga 12 guage
