Removing a scratch would be to polish to surface to be flush with the crack. IE removing your tint.

The only other option would be to fill in the scratch with something. I know of no products to do thag

I have some green Amber plastic lenses too, they scratched much faster than my previous pair of Costas. It has made me decide to stop buying Costas actually. I turned my old ones in after about 6 years, the frames were damaged, but the lenses were barely scratched. This new pair is scratched to the point that I cant see clearly out of them after less than 6 months. And I am gentle on them, don't wear during yardwork, pretty much only have them on driving, or on the boat.

Got a pair of cheap Magellans from academy, and they are barely scratched after a year. And I just toss them around, and never put in a case.

Scratches are why I NEVER buy plastic lenses.

That's because your old pair was glass and you cheaped out on the new pair and bought plastic.

69.00 plus 15.00 return fee and Costa will replace the lenses, a extra $20 and they'll replace with 580 glass and no more scratches, just don't drop them.

I’m 10x cheaper than that. I wear safety glasses that I get from work.

[quote]ust don't drop them.

This times infinity. I have a cracked pair I need to send back & a scratch on the pair I am currently wearing. Can’t believe the new pair didn’t crack after dropping them.

I might go with this and get glass lenses. I had to make a last minute stop before a fishing trip and all the store had was plastic. How easy do glass lenses break when dropped? My plastic ones scratched up from rubbing the dash board when they were hanging on my rear view mirror.

They aren’t that bad. I’ve dropped mine plenty and they are still scratch and crack free. However as I’m typing this I’m sure I’ll crack them tonight
