I just saw the savage axis .308 here at two Walmarts in Charlotte.

One had them for 199 x3
The other for 284

I checked two hours later and they were out of stock. Crazy.

So how does Walmart sell a Remington 770 wjth a scope for 75 dollars? Or a $300 crossbow for $40?

It’s brand new in box and only in certain locations.

With Walmart being the logistics and pricing specialists, can they not move the gun from say, Baton Rouge where it won’t sell to New Roads where it would? How do they justify selling it for $200 less than msrp?

This doesn’t make sense. It’s new in box right?

There is a 280 one for 99 in my area. The lowest that is listed is 49 tho. Saw some others that were 50% off at 150 vs 300 but thats it.

It does...just not in the way you're thinking.

Walmart likely has a 50 page report showing why it makes more sense to lose money than to move it.

Logistically, that would be a nightmare. Anything under $10 would be cheaper to just write off I imagine. And since that is the case, it isn't worth having a transfer system in place for the larger items.

Once you invite in the possibility of further loss of product, it makes sense to just cut and gut.

Just got the 30-06 at the east side Walmart in Houma.

They had 1 left. You need to show them the SKU and UPC because that’s the only way it will come up in their system

Someone help me out. All I need to do is take the SKU/UPC number into a Walmart for a particular item and they will match that price? I see an office chair regular $55 but brickseek says its $13.00 at several walmarts. They should sell that chair to me for $13.00?

If those wallmarts are showing in stock, in your area for that price, you should be able to go in there and get it for that price. It could be marked as such all the way to they have no clue what chair your even talking about. Have the sku/ups (id have it pulled up on your phone) and go hunt it out.

Yes, not me tho. I read about them on reddit sometimes and if I think its a good deal and still live ill post it here. I don't look at brickseek but I read a comment over there that some do...you can filter down to things like sporting goods and just watch it.

....people.

It's simple.

Brickseek is not an advertisement for discounts. Brickwork shows the current prices for items in specific stores.

If brickseek says the item is on sale at a specific store, you have to go lay your hands on that specific item at that specific store.

It Will ring up at the discounted price IF you put your hands on the correct item in the correct store.

I tried this yesterday. Manager went in the back to get gun, it scanned at $397 and manager said there was nothing that they could do except sell it at what it scanned for. I was not happy after going through background check and all. But then again, I guess I could have just had a lazy manager doing the checkout.

Did they scan $199 or did you have to talk them into dropping the price.?

.....then it wasn't the right gun.

If you put them both side-by-side you can tell the difference between the old model and the new model from the difference in camouflage. That's why they need to pull that specific SKU number.

But how trustworthy is Brickseek that the items it shows in a specific store is correct and in the store?

On firearms, 100% accurate.

On everything else, it depends on if the Walmart employees have already stolen the items and hid them.

The brickseek system runs off of Walmart's own inventory system.

Sometimes you have to hunt for the items, sometimes they're on the Shelf in front of your face.

The one rule is that you never actually show brickseek to the Walmart employee.
