I truly like the Ruger brand. I feel they make some quality firearms, yet sadly I only own one Ruger product. This sounds like great news for Marlin.

Ruger has been on fire in the last 15 years. They make a bunch of really, really great firearms. My first rifle was a Marlin 336 in 30-30, so this news makes me happy.

I hope they start making shotguns again. I have always loved Ruger. My 57 is my favorite pistol at the moment.

Yep. They've been kicking arse and I really hope they do the marlin name justice. Id love to have a good quality .45 1894 marlin.

An extremely well run company acquires the best sub-brand of the worst run (at least American) firearms company EVER.

Everybody wins.

Kind of like that my 26" Red Label is somewhat of a rarity

Good to hear. I bought a Marlin (Remington) model 60 and it is a huge POS. I really wish I would have bought the 10/22

My Marlin 336 30/30 is very accurate. Love the buckhorn sights.

I really need to trade mine in. It's a shame it just sits there not getting used.
