Ruger American Rifle Rotary Mag Trouble

I just bought a new 30-06 Ruger American rifle and when trying to chamber shells, it jams on the third and fourth shell damn near every time due to the piss poor magazine. Apparently this is a common occurrence that Ruger knows about and has done little to resolve. Has anyone else had this issue? Is there a fix? It really is a shame because the gun itself is great, just a POS design for a magazine. I can't find any other manufacturers who make magazines for it either.

Damn. I was planning to make that my next gun purchase. Seems cheap and easy. I’ll be following this.

the stock really suck IMHO.
I have an American Predator in .308.
I put it on a Magpul American Hunter. Comes with a Magpul AICS magazine.

My 300 bo did this. Basically self corrected after awhile. They r cheap and u can buy extras relatively easy.

Fill butt of stock wt silicone. Helps. There are sacrifices made to keep price point low. But trigger , bolt , and barrels r solid. Shoots good.

Call or write Ruger and ask if they will replace it.
I had them replace a broken part several years out of warranty. They just asked that I send the broken one back in the postage-paid envelope they sent. I've read of many similar good customer service experiences with them.

Ruger provided excellent customer service when I had a problem with a new EC9S last year. Called them on the phone, they paid shipping to and from, and had the gun back to me in 12 days. (4 days of that was shipping). They did offer to ship me a part free of charge to fix it myself but I wasn't sure the part they recommended would fix it.

Call Ruger and they'll send you another one. I have the same rifle and two mags and they've never had issues.

NO problems with mine yet, only shot 30 rounds through it.

I haven't any issues with mine so far, the trigger sucks though and I will replace with a Timey.
