Need waterproof steel/safety toes. I'd prefer Wellington style.

Red Wing has 4 models that seem to fit all that.

I 2nd georgia. Only pair of boots I've ever had that lasted more than a year, and they are pretty cheap. I highly recommend not getting tony lamas. I blew up 2 pairs of them in about 3 months each.

Had about all of them, never steeltoe or waterproof though. I always just get "regular"

Georgias were comfortable right out of the box, but only lasted a few months.

Wolverines last about a year, but they definitely take a while to break in.

Cats were good, just heavy and hot. Lasted about a year.

Lake of the woods are crap.

Got lacrosses now. They are light and comfortable, but are a bitch to get on and off.

Red wings and it's not even close. Go to a red wing store and get fitted. I promise you won't be disappointed.

I like my ariat steel toes.... not sure if they do waterproof though. Now I don't "work" in them anymore, but i do wear them when i do crap outside.... been having them for about 3yrs and the sole has barely worn on the heel.

Georgias will last but they are heavy and felt like I was wearing skis. Wolverines I had lasted for over 4 years and I put them through hell. The were waterproof enough for me but I didn't have steel toes.

I like the justins. I don't know what type of work you do but they are very comfortable and hold up well for me on the farm. In the mud a lot and hard buckshot when it is dry. I walk the outside of the heel down on mine. Guess I'm bowlegged! I usually get a year out of them.

i have had wolverines, justin and i now have redwings. and redwing are by far the best one out of the three; however, they were a bitch to break in but now it feels like i am wearing socks. go redwing

I used to wear the redwings but quit for that very reason. They are very tough to break in and plus I am VERY flat footed. So I have to go with what is tolerable to wear new.

Redwings and its not even close. Every pair I had lasted 2+ years. I have one pair I keep in my truck for muddy days that are about 8 years old.
